All of the activities that Royal Caribbean offer are some of my favorite vacation activities of all time. I have loved Royal Caribbean since I was a kid. From waterslides, bumper cars, laser tag, comedy shows, dodgeball tournaments, basketball shooting, archery, fencing, simulate skydiving there is an activity for every type of personality on these cruise ships. My favorite part of Royal Caribbean is that they do not forget about Mom and Dad’s vacation time so Royal Caribbean offers a youth program called Adventure Ocean. As a kid I couldn’t wait to show up to Adventure Ocean because I would always meet new people, get competitive and have a blast with all of the counselors that are from all around the world. These counselors would take us on tours around the ship and we would even get to see the behind the scenes action of the cruise ship. My counselors brought me to the captains quarters, the main kitchen and I even got a taste of a new dessert that the chefs were working on! It is nice that these counselors are easy-going and from other parts of the world because when a child is very young, they aren’t really aware of how big the world is and they don’t know how different people are and it is nice to expose children to such activities because they get a feel for the REAL world. Adventure Ocean definitely taught me how to meet and bond with new people at a young age and certainly improved my social skills. Adventure Ocean isn’t required for your child/children, but it is a very good program so everyone in the family can enjoy every aspect of the cruise!
Now say you did send your kid to Adventure Ocean, now what’s in store for you? Well, there are plenty of bars located all over the ship, hot tubs, pools, waterslides, an adult lounge and so much more! My parents really enjoyed the hot tubs because they would get into talking with other people in the hot tubs and they have met lifelong friends just by talking, relaxing in a hot tub! Now if you aren’t a social butterfly, there are many activities you can engage yourself in by yourself. You can go get a massage, enjoy an escape room
with just you and your family and there is a whole casino on board! Royal Caribbean is by far my favorite cruise line because of all the entertainment they offer throughout the cruise and at the end of all of my cruises I always can’t wait till my next oceanic adventure!
